Historically Strange Studios LLC is a business polycule consisting of economically disadvantaged creatives, developers, educators, and weird hobbyists attempting to make it in the world. We seek to establish a presence to survive this world by being as strange as possible and we hope you enjoy. We may toe the line from time to time but we never punch down. We take creative risks that others don’t by hiding behind a company.

Professionalism stifles creativity. We believe that catering solely to public demand often results in generic, uninspired work — resulting in a homogenized mono culture. In other words, we do not want to be 2 percent reduced fat milk. Our mission is to take creative risks and produce unique content that isn’t afraid to be strange, hence the company name. Holy crap did it take us months to come up with a name and we ended up using something back in our past.
Since 2017 - An Old Project Reborn
The idea for our company was born in 2017. Back then, we were just young, arrogant adults filled with grand ideas rather than experience. Now we’re back because we found the password to our old email. After years of life experience (which, let’s be honest, wasn’t all that great because now we’re all cynical comedians), we’ve rediscovered our old ideas. But we did develop new skills, like coding, so we’re taking the risk to bring our creative vision to life before we die of regret.

Two masters degrees, one bachelor’s degree, a certified hypnotist, life coach, instructor, librarian, code monkey, digital artist, 3D modeler, game developer, manager, and cook.
Do you accept submissions from independent creators?
Yes. If you have an unpublished book, game, project, etc and you want to make a quick buck, contact us and we’ll negotiate a price.
What formats do you publish in?
We publish in various formats but mostly digital since it’s easier to handle.
Can I purchase your products online?
Yes but give us a while to get things set up. We are going to focus on quick projects first before we tackle the big ones.
